Program Setup Workflow

Goal

Prepare semester data so team generation can run successfully.

Pages Involved

Steps

  1. Open Projects page and upload/merge project CSV data.
  2. Open Partners page and upload/merge partner CSV data.
  3. Open Students page and upload/merge student roster or bid-response CSV.
  4. Verify records in each table (filter/search and spot-check).
  5. Open Generate Teams page and create the target semester if needed.
  6. Activate projects for the selected semester.

Outputs

  • Semester exists in DB.
  • Student, partner, and project data are populated and editable.
  • Active project set is ready for team generation.

Common Failure Points

  • Missing or malformed CSV headers.
  • Student rows without netID/SSO ID.
  • Projects missing partner relationships.
  • Students with no valid choices for active projects/day.
