Pluto Drones by Drona Aviation

The creators of Pluto Drones, India’s leading DIY educational drone platform for students, teachers, makers, and developers.

Hey, we're Drona Aviation! 👋

Builders of Pluto Drones – modular programmable drones for hands-on learning and innovation in robotics and coding.

An illustration showcasing drone innovation with a focus on education, DIY projects, and students exploring drone technology. The backdrop includes Indian landmarks like the Gateway of India and the IIT Bombay campus.

Since 2014, our mission has been simple yet powerful:

👉 Democratize drone technology by making it accessible, hands-on, and meaningful for students, educators, hobbyists, and developers.

We are the creators of Pluto Drones – DIY nano drone platforms that let you build, fly, and program real drones, not just simulations.

What are Pluto Drones?

Pluto Drones are educational, programmable nano drones designed to teach:

  • Drone flight control systems
  • Coding & embedded programming
  • Robotics and automation
  • Real-world engineering concepts
  • STEM learning through hands-on experimentation

Trusted in Education:
Pluto drones are present in 16+ countries, used by 50,000+ students, educators, and innovation labs across schools, colleges, and 8000+ Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) – government educational labs in India for hands-on STEM and drone learning.

Unlike toy drones or limited exposure platforms, Pluto is a modular drone, making it ideal for:

  • STEM education & classrooms
  • School and college projects
  • Robotics clubs & maker spaces
  • Research and rapid prototyping
  • DIY drone builders

Why Pluto Drones?

  • Modular Hardware & Software
