DOM Type Selection Guide

Mouse Dictionary offers two DOM types:

• Shadow DOM (default since version 1.7)
• Light DOM

Selectable in Advanced Settings:

Shadow DOM

Recommended for most users.

• 🛡️Isolated from website styles.
• 🎨Consistent appearance.
• ⚠️Extensions like Dark Reader may not work.

(Shadow DOM + Dark Reader)

Light DOM

Use if you want external tools to modify the appearance.

• 🎭Inherits website styles.
• 🌙Compatible with Dark Reader.
• ⚠️May break depending on site CSS.
