I think the intent on specifying some industries for disruption is fine, and gives some initial guidance, however I think specific examples within an industry are too rigid in scope.

I understand that "canonical" isn't the most straightforward word, but what I really like about "canonical" is that it's the "origin", or "the source of truth". Recognized I don't think accurately conveys this intention. Can you think of another word?

I think that we should be a little more general and not so prescriptive, otherwise we limit our scope and flexibility. How about something like: "WindingTree seeks to disrupt established real-world service marketplaces across industries including, but not limited to, travel, ticketing, and the sharing economy."

Some examples of marketplaces that can be transformed with the WindingTree protocol are Online Travel Agencies
(e.g. Booking.com), Global Distribution Systems (e.g. Amadeus) or even e-commerce platforms (e.g. Amazon).

I think with respect to "e-commerce platforms", I would argue that if something like this were included, it would be expansionary in reference to the scope of "real-world services", ie. Amazon as an e-commerce platform is more about selling products / goods, and not services (with the exclusion of AWS).
