There seem to be two kinds of identity:
- Public - That which we want to share with the world, including email addresses, social accounts we're proud of an so on.
- Private - Burner accounts used for anonymity, bank accounts and so on.
1Password does a good job at handling 1. 2 is not well served. That's back to the walled garden issue.
vCard is an odd relic of more open times. The format is simple and well supported. It could probably be built on. I'd like to try to solve for 1, perhaps later growing into 2 if this sees any uptake.
