Customer-Analysis-using-Tableau

Customer Analysis is a critical business function that helps companies understand their customers better, identify areas of improvement, and build stronger relationships. Tableau is a powerful data visualization tool that can be used to analyze customer data and gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and needs.

A Customer Analysis Tableau project typically involves the following steps:

  1. Data Collection: Collecting data from various sources such as customer databases, social media, surveys, and other customer touchpoints.

  2. Data Cleaning: Cleaning the data by removing duplicates, correcting errors, and filling in missing values.

  3. Data Preparation: Preparing the data for analysis by transforming, aggregating, and merging data from different sources.

  4. Data Visualization: Creating visualizations such as bar charts, pie charts, scatterplots, and heat maps to analyze customer data and identify patterns and trends.

  5. Insights and Recommendations: Using the insights gained from data analysis to make informed business decisions and develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.

A Customer Analysis Tableau project can help businesses in several ways, including:

  1. Identifying customer segments: Analyzing customer data to identify different segments based on demographics, behavior, and preferences.

  2. Predicting customer behavior: Using predictive analytics to forecast customer behavior and anticipate their needs.

  3. Improving customer experience: Identifying areas of improvement in customer experience by analyzing customer feedback, complaints, and reviews.

  4. Enhancing customer loyalty: Developing strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention by analyzing customer behavior and preferences.

Here I did some Visualizations based on :

  1. Revenue per state
  2. Revenue Based on month of the year
  3. Revenue Based on Age
  4. Quantity - Discount Percentage Correlation
  5. Percentage of revenue per region
  6. Revenue per category per gender

Overall, a Customer Analysis can help businesses gain a competitive advantage by understanding their customers better and providing them with personalized experiences that meet their needs and expectations.
