Frames is a highly professional, stable visual overhaul for Visual Studio Code. Inspired by modern macOS and dashboard layouts, it brings a clean, rounded, panel-focused desktop aesthetic to your editor using only official, stable VS Code APIs. No unsafe CSS injection. No application corruption.
We believe your editor should feel like a premium, modern desktop application. Frames reorganizes the layout by shifting the Activity Bar to the top (or hiding it) and applies carefully calibrated typography, smooth animations, and simulated rounded panel geometry.
