  • Change is either:
    • To a Draft PEP
    • To an Accepted or Final PEP, with Steering Council approval
    • To fix an editorial issue (markup, typo, link, header, etc)
  • PR title prefixed with PEP number (e.g. PEP 123: Summary of changes)

We really should have a checklist somewhere that we follow when the new council is seated. I think we mostly know the most important things to update (various permissions and memberships), but things like this can fall through the cracks. Thanks for the update!

@warsaw We had this onboarding doc from earlier councils. Perhaps updating it makes sense: https://github.com/python/steering-council/blob/main/process/onboarding.md
