π‘ What: Implemented zero-copy reading for
ShareableMap.getandShareableArray.at(and internal reads).π― Why: Previously, reading an item involved copying the data from the
SharedArrayBufferto a temporaryUint8Arraybefore decoding, because historical browser support for decoding directly from SAB was inconsistent.π Impact: Reduces memory allocation and
memcpyoverhead. Benchmarks show ~1.8x speedup for Map reads and ~1.65x for Array reads.π¬ Measurement: Verified with a custom benchmark script measuring read operations on 1KB values.
npm testpassed to ensure correctness. CorrectedNumberEncoderto safely handle views with offsets.PR created automatically by Jules for task 1188094658173378037 started by @pverscha
