Updates some of the links to the new docs site, removes dead ones and ones that we no longer host or maintain.
Also added a non-required section on how it was installed - when this was made we only supported the website packages but now we have a couple of officially supported repos and some popular community ones I think this makes sense in case we come across any weird things (I'm mostly looking at you flatpak and snap).
