Should it be every week or every 2 weeks? What time/day? Should it be a different time/day every second week, since we have very different timezones?

At 2025 mentor summit, we got a lot of excellent ideas on how to improve how the summer goes. Regular opportunities to get feedback, get unblocked, and learn what others are doing were highly recommended by other orgs. This is new here, so you can shape it in a way that makes sense!

i like every two weeks for a bit of a longer check-in. especially for documentation & would love to have regular feedback on it. but i could also see a short meeting every week working well too.

as for timing -- post-10AM EST is great. if today's meeting was a good time (10:30am EST) i'm down to keep it! my schedule is pretty open Tues/Thurs/Fri otherwise.

Yes, weekly meetings post 10 AM EST work for me as well. I’m tied up for the next two days with consecutive exams, but after that I’m down to join meetings throughout the week whenever everyone’s available. Friday would probably be my preferred day if possible.

I prefer a bi-weekly meeting as our conversations can have depth because we're working on that thing for a longer duration. Because of the timezone difference, I'm available between 7 AM and 12 PM EST on most days. I'm available on Sunday and Saturday every time, but am also flexible for other days.

I also think bi-weekly meetings would work well. We can do weekly Discord text updates to keep everyone aligned between meetings. Otherwise, bi-weekly meetings would be better for discussions.
I’m flexible with the meeting day. My preferred timing would be between 7:00 AM and 1:30 PM EST.

sounds good, looks like bi-weekly is where most of us are landing so happy to go with that. +1 to vansh's idea of weekly discord updates in between, keeps things tight without extra meetings
for time, 9am to 12pm EST works on my end. no strong day preference, so happy to go with whatever works for everyone else
