I noticed that I can use variable expansion within
php-fpm.conffiles. The documentation page does not explicitly mentions this. Instead it only provides examples of passing environment variables on to the child process. At the very top of the page there is a mention that
php.inisyntax is used. This somewhat implies that variable expansion is supported just like inphp.ini. I suggest though that we update the discussion on environment variables with an example of how it php-fpm can be configured using env vars to make the support for this more explicit.
