My suggestion is to use specific Item name and Revision code instead of the "freetext" BVR name, which can be spelled differently in various localizations of Teamcenter (e.g. German localization would have '<item.id>/AA-Ansicht'

(edit. this is a reply to a question which I think has been removed from here after posting) Q: "Do we need to join PWORKSPACEOBJECT at all in this case?" A: No, not really - only to get the "human readable" name of the BVR object, but that is totally optional. Otherwise, the pworkspaceobject row here is the same object as the ppsbomviewrevision row with the same puid.
