This PR updates the repository’s release workflow to use a newer major version of the actions/checkout GitHub Action, aligning the workflow with the intent of using the latest checkout implementation.

- Bump
actions/checkoutusage in the release workflow from@v4to@v6across all jobs. - Keep existing checkout options (e.g.,
fetch-depth: 0in the release job) unchanged while updating the action reference.
