MEAD (Measuring Extinction and Abundances of Dust)

This repository contains code to measure NIR and MIR extinction features for a sample of stars, from their JWST NIRCam and MIRI spectra.

Dependencies

This project uses dust_extinction (Gordon, K. D. 2024, Journal of Open Source Software, 9, 7023) to obtain model dust extinction curves and dust grain models from the literature.

The final reduced and calibrated NIRCam grism and MIRI MRS spectra related to this work, can be found on Zenodo.
