How to change color of root bash

Start editin the .bashrc file

vim .bashrc

Remove the comment of the force_color

#force_color_promt=yes

force_color_prompt=yes

In the end of file, put the command for:

####Green Prompt User

PS1='${debian_chroot:+($debian_chroot)}[\033[01;32m]\u@\h[\033[00m]:[\033[01;34m]\w[\033[00m]$ '

####Red Prompt for you user

PS1='${debian_chroot:+($debian_chroot)}[\033[01;31m]\u@\h[\033[00m]:[\033[01;34m]\w[\033[00m]$ '

How this work

[\033[Z;YY;XXm]

Where Z is the characters style, YY is the background color and XX is the characters color.
