This commit completely modernizes the `i2c` library. - Replaces the `nan` C++ addon with a `node-addon-api` (N-API) implementation for ABI stability. - Refactors the JavaScript API from callbacks to a modern `async/await` (Promise-based) interface. - Renames the package to `i2c-next` to reflect the breaking API changes. - Adds a comprehensive Jest test suite with mocking for the native layer. - Updates all documentation and examples to match the new API.
