NoteWizard (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

All notes and documents you create are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your note content. You retain full control over your data.

We store your preferences locally, such as theme, language, font, and note path, to enhance your experience.

If you enable the AI assistant, your API keys and configuration are encrypted and stored locally, never uploaded.

The app checks for updates via GitHub’s public API, which may transmit basic system info (e.g., OS type), but no personal or note data.

We use the collected information solely to:
- Provide and maintain app functionality
- Apply your preferences

All notes are stored locally on your device in a path you choose. We have no access to your data unless you share it.

We support optional AES-256-GCM local encryption, with all encryption handled locally. Security updates are released regularly.

If enabled, note content is sent directly to your configured LLM provider. We do not relay or store this data. Processing is governed by the provider’s privacy policy.

Note content is retained until you delete it.
App settings remain until the app is uninstalled.

You may delete notes and empty the recycle bin. Uninstalling the app does not remove your notes.

NoteWizard is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
