  • Testing with dev workflow in this branch to check use of {{#runtime-import .github/say-hello.md}}. This workflow is compiled just once. Any changes of the markdown instructions to the agent say-hello.md wouldn't need a recompile, creating a smoother user experience when iterating on workflows.

Example

  1. We start with the following say-hello.md instructions and run the workflow to get the output below, talking about cats as instructed:
# Hello

Say hello to the world and talk about cats.

Hello, world! 👋

And hello to you too, mnkiefer!

Since you asked about cats: Cats are fascinating creatures with over 10,000 years of domestication history. They're obligate carnivores with incredible agility, able to rotate their ears 180 degrees and jump up to 6 times their body length. Each cat has a unique nose print, much like human fingerprints. Their purring frequency (25-150 Hz) may even have healing properties for bones and tissues. Plus, they spend about 70% of their lives sleeping—the ultimate work-life balance experts! 🐱

  1. We can modify the instructions and only commit this file say-hello.md - no recompile of the agentic workflow necessary! We run the workflow again and obtain the output as expected, now talking about dogs:
 # Hello

-Say hello to the world and talk about cats.
+Say hello to the world and talk about dogs.

Hello, world! 🌍

Dogs are amazing companions that have been by humanity's side for thousands of years. They come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny Chihuahuas to massive Great Danes. Dogs are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and unconditional love. Whether they're working as service animals, competing in agility courses, or simply lounging on the couch, dogs bring joy and companionship to millions of people around the globe. Their ability to read human emotions and provide comfort makes them truly special members of our families!
