Changes

Three prose fixes in the /docs/learn/ content layer:

File Before After
fundamentals/crystal-systems.yaml Center of Symmetry Centre of Symmetry
origin/brazil/tourmaline.yaml Pink center, green rim Pink centre, green rim
phenomena/tenebrescence.yaml the color-active sulfur species the colour-active sulfur species

Skipped (source-quoted material)

Two of the five originally requested changes were found inside verbatim quotations and have been left untouched to preserve fidelity with the primary sources:

  • origin/russia/demantoid.yaml line 137: aluminum content appears inside a direct inline quote from Schwarzinger (2019).
  • phenomena/schiller.yaml line 133: behavior of thicknesses appears inside the title of Miura, Tomisaka & Kato (1975) in the Sources section.

AmE sweep

A broad sweep for American English terms (color, behavior, aluminum, center, etc.) across all prose in docs/learn/ found no additional editable hits. The remaining matches were all inside verbatim quotations or journal article titles.

Test plan

  • Confirm rendered YAML parses cleanly (npm run sync in gemmology.dev)
  • Spot-check the three modified pages in the site preview
  • Verify skipped lines still match their cited source text

- fundamentals/crystal-systems.yaml: Center of Symmetry -> Centre of Symmetry
- origin/brazil/tourmaline.yaml: Pink center, green rim -> Pink centre, green rim
- phenomena/tenebrescence.yaml: color-active sulfur -> colour-active sulfur

Fixes 3 of 5 requested changes. The remaining 2 were correctly identified
as verbatim source quotations and left untouched:
- origin/russia/demantoid.yaml line 137: inside a direct LA-ICP-MS paper quote
- phenomena/schiller.yaml line 133: inside a journal paper title in Sources
