Seems like tidelift is supported https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/managing-your-repositorys-settings-and-features/customizing-your-repository/displaying-a-sponsor-button-in-your-repository#about-funding-files

I can add my username in here or another PR. but I need an acknowledgment from a core maintainer of DRF to tidelift as manual acknowledgment for that. I will email you that.

I've applied to join DRF in Tidelift, and they replied saying there are multiple maintainers for it, and asked to get confirmation from others that I'll be joining.
I think I may have misunderstood, I thought you were already added to the project on Tidelift, but it seems that you're just registered individually?
