This is caused by dotnet/runtime#114281. What's the right way to resolve this issue? Are repos downstream from runtime expected to manually reference the same version of System.Threading.Tasks.Extensions? Or is it supposed to flow via the maestro?

@radical It doesn't look like this PR has been updated since you did a manual merge. Should we just close this and use darc to trigger a new dependency update PR? If so, will we need to reapply the General.props changes?

This should get closed. aspnetcore no longer builds separately, and the branch already gets updates from the VMR, currently open in this (very stale) PR: #6729
