If you don't want to use msi-ec, use older versions of MCC when msi-ec wasn't required, as mentioned in the readme:

With version 0.5.0 the app uses the msi-ec driver

I really like to use msi-ec but my hardware lacks msi-ec support, and it probably will for a long time(I use a old laptop). The startup warning is a disruptive UX issue, and the button I added provides a straightforward solution. This addition will also help several other users who mentioned dealing with the same problem in the linked issue.

I understand, but you can simply just use version 0.5.0 or older and you shouldn't see the annoying pop up anymore.

just to let you know, the older version works better on devices without msi-ec as it relies more on the ec_sys module.
