Dark is a technology company dedicated to closing the gap between frontier technology and human cognition through production applications. We're a nimble team who believe the most impactful software is the kind that is as intuitive as it is capable.
Today, we focus our efforts on two frontier industries that suffer from the same gap between their technology's capabilities and how those capabilities are understood by the broader mainstream: blockchain infrastructure and artificial intelligence. While these industries have long been popular and can sound oversaturated, we believe they share enough similarity in their shortcomings today and in their potential tomorrow that our focus on their intersection will yield meaningful progress.
Both crypto and AI have achieved remarkable technical milestones, but they're systems that force people to think like the machines and not the humans we are. We believe that solving for this gap requires a unique blend of design engineering and focused application of emerging research - and we hope to excel at both.
