Thanks @MahdiBaghbani for also looking into this! It also relates to #275, where we concluded that we don't need to acknowledge the Organizations we work for. Yet, the different funding initiatives could be included, as agreed over Matrix. Now, if we add them we have to also include the EU-funded projects CS3MESH4EOSC and EOSC Data Commons. I shall look into their references and propose an additional patch. |

I added a short funding acknowledgement to the draft and kept it inside the
Acknowledgementssection, instead of leaving it as a separate funding subsection@michielbdejong, does this look OK to you?
I could not find Michiel Leenaars' GitHub handle to tag him directly, I'll draft an email right away
