Description
Adds a new “Image Mode” setting, which allows fields to choose whether newly-added images should be inserted as
<img>tags (default) or nested entries.When “Nested entries” is selected, the “Default Upload Location”, “Available Transforms”, and “Default Transform” settings are hidden, and replaced with an “Image Field” setting, where you can select the entry type/Assets field which should store newly-added images.
In “Nested entries” mode, the asset selector that opens when pressing the “Insert image” button will be limited to the same asset sources/subpath available to the Assets field selected by the “Image Field” setting. And dragging an image onto the field will place it in the field’s Default Upload Location.
Either way, once an image is selected/uploaded, a new nested entry will be created based on the selected entry type, with the Assets field populated with the new image.
