Fixes ##27935
Fixes CAL-7207

What does this PR do?

Adds emoji support to the about text editor toolbar by integrating an emoji picker. Users can now insert emojis directly into their about content, improving personalization and UX without requiring backend changes since emojis are supported by existing text storage.

  • Enhances user experience by allowing emoji insertion inside the editor.
  • Uses emoji-picker-react for emoji selection.
  • Emojis are inserted as plain Unicode text, ensuring compatibility with existing storage and rendering.

Visual Demo (For contributors especially)

A visual demonstration is strongly recommended, for both the original and new change (video / image - any one).

Video Demo (if applicable):

Video.Project.4.mp4

In responsive screens

Video.Project.4.1.mp4

After saved results

Video.Project.5.mp4

Mandatory Tasks (DO NOT REMOVE)

  • I have self-reviewed the code (A decent size PR without self-review might be rejected).
  • I have updated the developer docs in /docs if this PR makes changes that would require a documentation change. If N/A, write N/A here and check the checkbox.
  • I confirm automated tests are in place that prove my fix is effective or that my feature works.

How should this be tested?

  • Navigate to Profile → about editor

  • Open toolbar

  • Click emoji icon

  • Select any emoji

  • Verify emoji inserts at cursor position

  • Save profile

  • Reload page and confirm emoji persists correctly

  • Expected behavior:

  • Emoji picker opens correctly

  • Emoji inserted into editor content

  • No console errors

  • Emojis render correctly after save and reload

Environment:

  • No additional env variables required.
