Adapted from the IDL hypnotoad.

Changes default poloidal_spacing_method to sin rather than sqrt. This is more robust while still producing smoothly varying cell sizes.

Consistent with other poloida distance functions, use N_norm
to normalise distances so that the parameter is independent
of global mesh resolution.

I think the default poloidal spacing function should be either sin or monotonic (or even linear): They are all more robust than the current default sqrt.

`sin` is more robust than `sqrt`, while also trying to
smoothly adapt poloidal cell sizes.
