- Add tests covering deadline errors, message validation, proto unmarshal/write errors, and boundary conditions
- Create mockStream for controlled error injection in tests
- Document deadline detection behavior and libp2p mock stream assumptions
- Increase test coverage from 62.4% to 90.8%
