Just want to let you know I'm not ignoring you! I'm still talking with original dev about their plans for the future and what kind of updates they're happy for me to make. Hopefully they'll agree to implement these changes especially since they've been aspirational plans for a while. I'll update you once I know more, thank you for the contribution |

I saw these were two "planned features" on the mod page, and they seemed simple enough to implement so I went forward and gave it a shot here. Number for the light level is WIP, I made a config so that the owner of the mod can tune the number however they'd like.
(This is the same PR as earlier, I just redid it with the new branch history)
