Hi, I'm Wendy 👋

I build AI tools that help people make better decisions — about their health, their money, and their futures. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, I work at the intersection of backend engineering and machine learning, with a soft spot for problems that actually matter to people in Africa.

My projects range from healthcare AI that helps women understand their bodies, to fintech tools that make sense of M-PESA data, to RAG pipelines for things I love (like theatre 🎭). I care about clean code, thoughtful design, and solutions that hold up in the real world.

Currently pursuing an MSc in Software Engineering (graduating 2026) and open to junior/mid roles in backend or ML engineering — remote or Nairobi.
