Proposed New Content
This page will cover what static content should exist on the new website. Some content can be copied over from the old website and some will have to be created or re-written. Some of this content already exists.
Content for the home page of the website.
"Read our FAQ" -> Link to FAQ page. Does not currently exist.
"Contact a Member" -> Link to contact page. Contact page exists but link does not work.
"Join a Class" -> ??
"Beginners Welcome" -> Link to a "Beginners Welcome" page. Does not currently exit.
"Announcements" -> Section shows latest announcements.
"What is a Hackerspace?" -> Brief description of what hackerspaces are. Heading exists, content does not.
"About Unallocated Space" -> Brief description of Unallocated Space. Does not currently exist.
"Donations" -> Brief description about making donations to UAS. Should link to full Dues and Donations page. Heading exists, content does not.
This page should outline what a person can do to become active in the UAS community, both in-person and online.
Currently links to:
- Events and Classes (This replaces the Google calendar?)
- Groups (Replaces our mailing list?)
- Projects (Replaces our mailing list?)
This serves as a repository for tutorials, articles, galleries, videos, wiki (still needed?), and downloads.
A form to contact UAS. This currently exists and does not appear to need any modification.
Currently lists members with accounts on the site? Left side bar has a link to a membership page. This should probably be switched.
Currently this is "Tech Donations" and should be replaced with the more comprehensive "Donations and Dues" page from the old site.
