After review and merge I will release a new version of the package: beta version 0.2.0b1 Need to add testing for metrics code.

I see the tests in the pre-commit failed due to not being able to run SmCCNet with the sample data. Ill think of a better way to test this. |

Working on pre-commit issues on another branch. Other than that the build works and test passed for all Operating Systems |

To make the sample data available and since this branch includes significant changes to the package.
