Provide some added info on why false properties are false.

Observations:

  • Maybe this scenario should be retired?

  • I prefer to disprove properties by using specific values (avoiding gross algebra like required of above) -- I'm going to add an example for each false property (assuming random choices 1,2,3,4... are likely to work).

  • Actually this semester I started having students use SageMath to do these calculations anyway because I'm so bored of checking the work on this and would rather check their code. 😅 https://sagecell.sagemath.org/?q=vwddfc

Here I plug in values (which is way less tedious when doing these by hand than the algebra with all the variables). There's actually one sample quiz where the "For example" actually gives the same values (by chance) for both sides of the equation; I don't think it's worth making the generator more clever to avoid this as it happens so rarely.
