Hi, I'm Nathan!

I'm a student developer interested in spacecraft. I want to build the instruments, gimbals, and robotic limbs that make exploration possible.

🚀 What I'm working on

  • Electrodynamic Space Tether Optimization (TSS-1R Model): Modeling the structural replacement of traditional copper cores with Graphene Super Laminate (GSL) tape ribbon configurations to prevent plasma-induced arcing. Applied Faraday’s Law of Induction across LEO velocity vectors to calculate a projected 75 kW electromagnetic power harvest.
  • Virtual GNC: Simulating Earth-to-Jupiter gravity assists using NASA's GMAT (General Mission Analysis Tool).
  • Automation: Writing MATLAB/Octave scripts to optimize fuel consumption ($\Delta V$) for deep-space missions.
  • Web Tools: Building community-focused apps like my Bible Reading Tracker and specialized web consoles.

Case Study: High School Curriculum System Optimization

  • System Bottleneck: Traditional 2-year linear LOTE (Language Other Than English) time allocations blocking high-velocity STEM placement tracks.
  • Optimization Vector: Bypassed local institutional friction by leveraging centralized district policy directives (LAUSD BUL-2533.3).
  • Implementation: Synchronized stakeholder databases (MiSiS framework) to establish an accelerated online proficiency validation path via the Avant platform, resolving a projected 10-credit graduation deficit by mapping an immediate curriculum pipeline swap into open Honors/CTE engineering blocks.
  • Impact: Minimized time overhead, cleared structural Area E requirements, and maximized available allocation for junior-year Honors Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra.

🛠️ Tech Stack & Tools

  • Languages: Python, JavaScript, C++, Shell, HTML/CSS
  • Aerospace & Engineering: NASA GMAT, NOS3, 42, COSMOS, Autodesk Fusion 360 (Parametric design/assemblies)
  • Community: TraceLabs
  • Platforms: GitHub Pages, Linux (Kali, Tsurugi, Tails, BlackArch, etc.), Windows 10/11 Pro
  • Mathematical Pipeline: AP Calculus BC $\rightarrow$ Honors Multivariable Calculus & Linear Algebra
