Summary of Changes
Hello @St0nersdash, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!
I've opened this pull request to perform a security upgrade for the "gatsby" package from version 5.14.0 to 5.14.6. This update is crucial as it addresses a medium-severity "Symlink Attack" vulnerability identified by Snyk. The changes primarily involve updating the "package.json" and "yarn.lock" files to reflect the new dependency version and its transitive updates.
Highlights
- Critical Security Fix: This PR directly resolves a "Symlink Attack" vulnerability (SNYK-JS-TMP-11501554) by upgrading the "gatsby" package.
- Automated Dependency Update: The update of "gatsby" from 5.14.0 to 5.14.6, along with numerous transitive dependencies, was automatically generated by Snyk to ensure project security.
- Core File Modifications: The changes are contained within "package.json" and "yarn.lock", updating the declared "gatsby" version and synchronizing the dependency tree.
- Yarn Zero-Install Consideration: A specific note is included for users leveraging Yarn's zero-install feature, advising them to run "yarn" to update their ".yarn/cache" directory.

Code Review
This pull request, generated by Snyk, upgrades gatsby from version 5.14.0 to 5.14.6 to address a security vulnerability. While this is a patch update and intended to be non-breaking, it introduces a critical issue. The new version of gatsby has a dependency on multer@^2.0.1, which resolves to version 2.0.2. This version of multer appears to have been unpublished from the npm registry, which will likely cause your build to fail. This dependency issue must be resolved before the pull request can be merged.

This multer dependency, introduced by the gatsby upgrade, resolves to version 2.0.2. This version seems to have been unpublished from npm and is no longer available, which will likely cause your build to fail.
This is a critical issue. You might need to:
- Find a different version of
gatsbythat does not have this dependency issue. - Use
yarn resolutionsto override themulterversion. However, be aware thatmulterv2 contains breaking changes compared to v1, so this might not be a straightforward fix.
Please investigate this before merging.
Snyk has created this PR to fix 1 vulnerabilities in the yarn dependencies of this project.
Snyk changed the following file(s):
package.jsonyarn.lockNote for zero-installs users
If you are using the Yarn feature zero-installs that was introduced in Yarn V2, note that this PR does not update the
.yarn/cache/directory meaning this code cannot be pulled and immediately developed on as one would expect for a zero-install project - you will need to runyarnto update the contents of the./yarn/cachedirectory.If you are not using zero-install you can ignore this as your flow should likely be unchanged.
