Pull requests and comment tags in the DATs themselves may have info such as "matches TDC entry: Jumpman Lives! [SWR] (1991)(Apogee Software, Ltd.) [Action, Strategy]" - TDC is an abbreviation of The Total DOS Collection, which is a preservation DAT project specifically for DOS media and installations.
Pull requests and comment tags in the DATs themselves may have info such as "installed from floppy disks matching TGOD ID: ####" - TGOD is an abbreviation of The Good Old Days, which is an internet database for DOS-based floppy disks. The ID numbers are for specific entries in said database.
For example, a pull request or comment tag for Rise of the Dragon could say "installed from floppy disks matching TGOD ID: 744" - the Rise of the Dragon entry on The Good Old Days lists the following information for Rise of the Dragon (ID: 744):
