Walkthrough

The fetchUserFromDB method in JwtAuthenticationUtil.java was updated to cache only a minimal user object containing userID and userName in Redis, instead of the full user object. The method continues to return the full user object and now explicitly returns null if the user is not found.

Changes

File Change Summary
src/main/java/com/iemr/admin/utils/JwtAuthenticationUtil.java Modified fetchUserFromDB to cache only minimal user info (userID, userName); returns null if user not found

Poem

In the warren of code, a cache we renew,
Only user basics, now stored in the queue.
No more full rabbits in Redis to keep,
Just names and IDs, in slumber they sleep.
If no user appears, we simply return null—
The cache is now lighter, the logic more dull!

115-117: LGTM! Minimal user object creation is well-implemented.

The creation of a minimal M_User object with only userID and userName effectively reduces the data footprint in Redis while preserving essential user identification information.

120-120: LGTM! Caching minimal user data reduces Redis memory usage.

Caching the minimal userHash object instead of the full user object successfully implements the PR objective while maintaining the same cache duration and key format.

125-125: LGTM! Returning full user object maintains API compatibility.

Returning the complete user object ensures that existing code depending on this method continues to function correctly, while the Redis optimization remains an internal implementation detail.

130-130: LGTM! Explicit null return improves code clarity.

Making the null return explicit when the user is not found enhances code readability and follows Java best practices.
