A few comments from the sidelines: I tried this firmware.

  1. The firmware version number (see the manifest) is still 2.2.2+0)
  2. The sdcard recording dropout rates (~3% of microphones, ~25% of bone conduction data) are not improved over 2.2.2

  1. The firmware version number (see the manifest) is still 2.2.2+0)

The VERSION file only serves as a fallback, as we introduced a more complex firmware version numbering based on git tags and pull request numbers. I changed the version in the file to 2.2.3 nonetheless, as the fallback should still be somewhat accurate.

  1. The sdcard recording dropout rates (~3% of microphones, ~25% of bone conduction data) are not improved over 2.2.2

Performance improvements are planned for a future update.
