The workshop image has been failing to build since Aug 2025 because the 'develop' branch it cloned was deleted. Switch to a thin layer on top of mobilitydb/mobilitydb:18-3.6-1.3, which already provides the MobilityDB build, the extension, and the initdb hook. - docker/Dockerfile: single FROM, COPY workshop data from the build context (instead of wget from raw.githubusercontent.com), install unzip, set POSTGRES_* env defaults. No more compile toolchain. - docker/initdb-mobilitydb.sh: deleted; the base image already installs the mobilitydb extension into POSTGRES_DB. - docker-image.yaml: matrix bumped to 18/3.6/1.3, tag becomes mobilitydb/mobilitydb:18-3.6-1.3-workshop, drop arm64 (base is amd64-only), add paths filter so doc-only changes stop firing rebuilds. - README: simplified Docker section now that env vars and data are baked into the image.
Use matrix.include with explicit triplets (postgres/postgis/mobilitydb) instead of separate cartesian axes, rename psql to postgres, and drop the single-entry os axis.
Match the MobilityDB-docker workflow's gating so feature-branch and PR builds verify the Dockerfile (build only) without overwriting the published image tag.
