closes #525

Only set HOME on the subprocess environment if not already set. Use solely KHIOPS_MPI_HOME to that end.

TODO Before Asking for a Review

  • Rebase your branch to the latest version of dev (or main for release PRs)

  • When adding a public feature/fix: Update the Unreleased section of CHANGELOG.md (no date)
