Generating a Localization File From a VI

  1. Open the VI you want to localize.
  2. From the VI front panel go to Tools > JKI Simple Localization Palette > Localize this VI... Tools menu
  3. You will be prompted to select where you want to save the new dictionary file. save dictionary
  4. Enter the language of the current text on the VI front panel under Current Language, and another language that will be added to the dictionary under Additional Language. set language
  5. When the file is created, you may open the file in a text editor and add the localized phrases for the additional language(s).
