Clean Software Update Groups

This tools give a quick overview of all expired and superseded updates in ConfigMgr Software Update Groups, and give you the options to clean them out.

  1. Navigate to the ConfigMgr Console. If not already running, click Start, type Configuration Manager Console, and click the Configuration Manager Console icon.

  2. Click Software Library, click Software Updates, right click Software Update Groups, and select Quick Tools -> Clean Software Update Groups.

  1. On the Select Updates page, select updates to clean out (optional check Remove content for selected updates to remove content from deployment packages), and then click Next.

  1. Click on Next repeatedly, and then click Close.
