  • Add rimraf to clean the dist folder before TypeScript compilation
  • Ensures stale files are removed on each build, preventing potential issues from leftover artifacts

Test plan

  • Run npm install to install rimraf
  • Run npm run build and verify the dist folder is cleaned before compilation
