What does this PR do?

• Remove embedded field from selector to fix QF1008 violations https://staticcheck.dev/docs/checks#QF1008

Motivation

• Same as (No-op) Remove duplicate imports #2420 : Reduce number of staticcheck linter (disabled for now) violations
