adds fmtlib as a dependency adds `format` and `format_err` template functions to `color_ostream`
This also adds custom formatters for `df::coord` and `df::coord2d`
whitespace; `std::format` -> `fmt::format`
c++ standard does not allow static cast of a function pointer to `void*`
12.1.0 generates a warning when built with msvc also there are build time improvements after 12.1.0 was released
when it's ready, which it's not...
