In App Setup

  1. Go into settings and add your pumpID (6 digit numerical portion of your SN on the back of your pump)
  2. Turn on your RileyLink and place it nearby both your phone and pump
  3. Scroll to bottom of the settings screen and under devices you should see an entry that represents your RileyLink
  4. Turn on the switch, then press on the right arrow
  5. Tune to make sure the RileyLink can talk to your pump
  6. Press MySentry Pair and follow the instructions (523/723 pumps only)
  7. Test: try to get pump model and read remaining insulin to ensure communication is working. Note, you may want to Change Time which will update the time on your pump to exactly match what is on your iOS device.
  8. Add the rest of your settings (G5 TransmitterID if you have one, basal rates, etc). Be sure to keep an offline copy of all of your settings each time you make adjustments.
  9. To visualize treatments in Nightscout, make sure that the Preferred Data Source is set to Event History.
  10. Loop does not currently (8/24/2016) pull your pump's basal profile, ISF, or insulin to carb ratios. Therefore, for Loop to function properly, your pump settings need to match the settings entered in Loop.
