I installed a recent version of Android Studio (2025.2.2) and found that there were quite a few migration steps required to get these tutorials built and running correctly on an emulated Google phone. I also noticed that the Kotlin classes for Tutorial4 and Tutorial5 were missing so I migrated them from the Gitlab gst-docs examples following a similar (the same?) procedure as you did to get the Java converted to Kotlin.
Thanks for sharing these, and hopefully these additional changes will find there way to someone else in need!
