Hi @fgrosa and @mfaggin , I modified the corresponding abundance ratio from the one @stefanopolitano did in the config of the correlated background. And for Xic, I just merged the correlated bkg channel and the channel that existed originally.
Please let me know if there is any problem. Thanks a lot!

hi @wuctlby I tried to have a quick look, see my comments. I leave final words to @fgrosa anyway

Hi @mfaggin ! Thanks a lot for your comments. Now it is corrected, and the Lc+ -> p K0s is added. The abundance ratio is set to 36%.

Hi @wuctlby thanks a lot for the development! Please see my comments below (to be implemented in each config file)

Hi @fgrosa ! Thanks a lot for the comments. Just conclude the modification as below:

  • set 25% for D+ -> K- K+ π+
  • set 35% for Ds+ -> φ(1020) π+. And here, I suppose you would like to suggest that we reduce the ratio of correlated backgrounds for D+ as we did here for Ds.
  • set 35% for Ξc+ -> p K- π+ and Ξc+ -> Ξ- π+ π+, please let me know in case they are too small then.

4122:onIfMatch = 2212 321 211
### Lambda_c -> pK0s
4122:onIfMatch = 2212 311
### Λc -> p K- π+ π0

Hi @wuctlby ! Thanks for the development. It seems to me the Lc->pK0s might not be turned on when matched. Please check and, if so, add these lines in the other configs

Hi @stefanopolitano, the modification concluded as below:

  • Turn on the matching for Λc -> pK0s
  • Add the decay channel D+ -> K*0(1430) π+ 1.25% into D+ -> K- π+ π+, and set the ratio as 0.05880. At the same time, the D+ -> K- π+ π+ is set to0.44120
    Please let me know if anything needs further modification.

Hi @fgrosa ! Thanks a lot for the comments. Just conclude the modification as below:

Hi @wuctlby thanks a lot! For the Ds+ -> φ(1020) π+ I would suggest to have 50%, while for the Ξc+ it's probably OK (in any case for Ξc we should have dedicated productions with trigger on them)
After these changes the config is fine for me, thanks!

Hi @fgrosa , the Ds+ -> φ(1020) π+ is set to 50% now. Please let me know if anything requires further modification.

Hi @wuctlby, thanks a lot! Still two comments (both for the D+)

  1. I did not notice that you modified the D+ -> KKPi inclusive, but not the D+ -> PhiPi only: the latter is the one needed for signal, so the one to be increased to about ~25%, not the sum of all the channels giving KKPi as final state
  2. I noticed that you added the D+ -> KStar(1430)Pi (good, I forgot about it!) but I now noticed that you put the KStar(892)Pi in the 20% of KKPi, but it should be instead accounted in the 50% of KPiPi (since KStar decays to KPi, so the final state is KPiPi and it has a relatively large BR, see PDG https://pdglive.lbl.gov/Particle.action?init=0&node=S031&home=MXXX035)

…(892) pi+` to where the right final state is

Hi @fgrosa , thanks a lot for the cross-checks. Comments are addressed as follows:

  • Set the ratio of D+ -> PhiPi to 25%, and average the rest. Totally the K- K+ π+ final channel, it is 36%.
  • Move the D+ -> K*0(892) pi+ to where the K- π+ π+ is, and re-weighted by the branching ratio.
    • 0.40189 D+ -> K- π+ π+ 9.38%
    • 0.05356 D+ -> antiK*0(1430) π+ 1.25%
    • 0.04455 D+ -> K*0(892) pi+ 1.04%

Please let me know if some ratios need to be particularly set.
