Testing where CI fails (locally sync part works).
I did not find a better way than going over intermediate files for adjusting the jsons, e.g., I ran into trouble with jq syntax and bash quoting (maybe somebody knows better?).

Hello @f3sch ,

I think it is ok like this. I would have not yet opened a PR here, I would have continued on our branch, so maybe we can move this to WIP for now?
